The Russian occupants' attempt to repeat the Avdiivka scenario and send a large group of soldiers into the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces through a gas pipeline pipe has completely failed, Russian propagandists admit. According to their statements, the ‘Pipe’ operation was poorly planned, Ukrainian intelligence knew about everything from the very beginning, and more Russians suffocated in the pipe than were killed by the Ukrainian military, writes ‘Telegraf’.

In particular, one of the well-known Russian ‘war correspondents’, propagandist Vladimir Romanov claims that the Russian unit that carried out this operation was involved in the events in Avdiivka in early 2024. However, here, absolutely everything went wrong, he complains.

‘One unit, which since Avdiivka is very fond of PR, announced the idea with a pipe - saying ‘we can repeat’.... The unit said it had prepared everything: ventilation, sumps, water and provisions, communications, etc. But it turned out that they had not. Everyone knows the result,’ he complained.

In addition, other Russian propagandists write that the operation ‘was planned by those who use widely discussed topics and events to draw attention to themselves’. And the Ukrainian intelligence knew about the attempt to pass through the pipe to the rear of the AFU for quite a long time.

This time some propagandists made the scrapegoat the famous Russian drone pilot with the pseudonym of ‘Moses’, who on 1 March published on his channel a request for urgent help with the supply of oxygen cylinders. The propagandists say that this is what convinced Ukrainian intelligence that the information they had received about an attempt to repeat the ‘Avdiivka raid’ was quite real.
